Virtual Mission Artificial Intelligence France #AINLFR2021

Please note in your agenda that there is a helpdesk available on Wednesday the 27th from 8.30 to 16.30 to support with the VR sessions.

How to - attend the trademission via Windows or Oculus Quest

The virtual trade-mission event is easily accessible via Oculus Quest 1 or 2 & Windows. Windows basically provides you as a user the same functionality as Oculus, except presenting content during the event which is only possible via Oculus.
However, Oculus does provide users with the most immersive experience. This trade-mission is freely accessible - we recommend all attendees to invest the remaining budget in an Oculus Quest for the most immersive event experience.

Please note that Facebook demands all Oculus 2 users to have a valid FB account. We understand if this prevents you from purchasing an Oculus Quest 2. Another option is to attend via Windows, or send us a mail to see if there are rented Oculus 1 headsets available.

Next steps

  • Order an Oculus Quest 2 in case you are interested in the most immersive event experience.
  • Upon receipt of your Oculus device use the instructions attached - and feel free to explore VR experiences before the event.
  • Join the event from Windows or Oculus Quest at the kick-off on January 27th.

Organisation & support

XRBASE supports the NL AI Coalition with the organisation of the Virtual Trade-mission. In the run-up to the event, als well as during the event support will be available to make this a smooth experience for all attendees. We realise that for most attendees this will be the first experience in VR, so we'll start the event with some time to get familiar with the controls and surroundings.

Virtual AI Trade-mission world
To explore how the virtual space affects user experience, this trade-mission mixes a digital twin of Felix Meritis (custom built for this event) with abstract conference spaces. Please see below a first impression of the virtual Felix Meritis.
